SOFTWARE COMPANY Microsoft has updated its Windows Internet Explorer 9 beta, making it work better.How long this improved performance will last we don’t know, but for nowMicrosoft has explained that itsIE9 tweaks enhance reliability in a range of scenarios. At least the first one does, anyway.The company is keen to point out that although the release is a recommended update it does not constitute a new version. . However, it does appear toapply a large sticking plaster to its forerunner.In all there are two updates, both of which will be released automatically, at least to users that have automatic updates enabled.The second update fixes a feedback feature error that apparently prevented people from giving their views on the beta as its runs on 64-bit machines with Windows-Live-Essentials 11, so it’s handy that Microsoft fixed this months after the initial beta release.”These updates apply only to Internet Explorer 9 Beta… It is not a newInternet Explorer 9 Beta build”, saidTyson Storey, program manager at Microsoft. “Customers who have automatic updating enabled will not need to take any action because this update will be downloaded and installed automatically.”Anyone who has not enabled this will have to apply the updates manually.
